RYALA is an architecture practice based in London. Founded by Timothée Ryan and Laura Stargala, the studio cultivates an ethos grounded in the research and design of materials and spaces that emerge from and return to their immediate ecologies. With every project, we investigate the living and the inert to discover rather than invent architectural expressions that are native to a specific time and place. Through rigorous site analysis, vernacular research, and material experimentation we seek to design sincere spaces that recognise their interdependencies in greater networks of cultures and their environs.
